LAS VEGAS (KTNV) - Las Vegas police have responded to shots fired on a bus Wednesday afternoon.
The incident occurred on a bus in front of the McDonald's, located at 836 N. Nellis Blvd., near Bonanza Road.
A witness told 13 Action News the gunman fired two shots into the roof of the bus. The witness said everyone exited the bus after the shooting.
Nellis Boulevard is closed between Bonanza Road and Harris Avenue and nearby businesses have been evacuated. Bonanza Road is closed between Ute Lane and Lillian Street.
At least three schools -- Robison Middle School, Eldorado High School and Stanford Elementary School -- are on lockdown as a result.
